coolent leak

i suspect front rotor water passage is leaking, is rebuild necessary?

here are the pics:



digital zoomed (don't ever trust this again, unless i have to)

Front what I can see, that is where the water pump housing mates up with the front plate. If the leake is coming from there, you dont have to do a rebuild. Just remove the water pump housing, clean up the surfaces and look for anything odd like cracks and such. then use a NEW gasket and hi temp silicone to put it back together. Make a sandwhich liek below and check again for leaks
