Coolant Thermo Sensor

I recently had my car looked at because of the check engine light being on and was just told that my coolant thermo sensor was the problem. I dont happen to have a shop manual or Haynes manual handy so i was just wondering if someone could give me an idea as to where the piece is located and how hard/expensive it is to replace. Thankx. OH! and the car is a 90 N/A.

Its the green connector on the back of the water pump housing to the left and below the altenator and beside the coolant line that runs to the BAC.

Not a big deal to change. Make sure you put some thread tape on the new one so that it seals up.
