Coolant Rust

When taking out the shroud for the fan for cleaning purposes I disconected the coolant hose from the radiator and the pump and found a significant amount of rust in the line and inside the pump. What part would rust and will this effect the performance of the radiator? This was surprising and is it a normal thing to happen in the RX's? What should I do, replace all the metal parts or should I just clean out the system and not worry about it? Thanks a lot!!

Use a good flush and then refill the system with a good mix of 50/50 coolant/water.
