Coolant rabbit hole. Cant find beck/arnley green

Hey guys getting the rebuild motor install going.
I can t find the fl22 copy beck and arnkey anymore in store

I had an older post from many years ago and this was the beat cheap option. Not available in any store. Might need to hunt online.
anyone recommend any other coolants?
From what i remember not silicate was better.
The only green i can find is low silicate green fram coolant. Would low silicate damage the seals or shoulr a just find a better phoat coolant

I dont need it right now but i need to be ordering parts to finish this install.

FL-22 is the spec Mazda went to in 2006 or so. 0000-77-508F-20 is the Mazda part number.
its pre mixed, so you need 2 gallons. any of the FL-22 is going to be made in the same place, so you can just shop price/availability

the Rx7's used 0000-77-501E-02, which is not premixed. the FL-22 being premixed is an effort to control the PH of the coolant. you might price check the Mazda stuff, as a starting point

generally its not practical to ship coolant, so anything you buy in the US is mixed in the US, and there are only a couple factories, so the chance of all of the FL-22 coming from the same place is like 30% or more

I went down this rabbit hole a few years ago when looking into what coolant to put in a different vehicle and discovered the various types of coolant. I had always used green Prestone. During that search about coolant I discovered that the green Prestone is basically a Dex-cool clone now. That said it's been in my car for 100k miles with no issues. Even though I've had no issues I will not be putting it back in when I replace the coolant as nothing I own should probably use it. From lack of a close Mazda dealership, I use either Zerex Asian or Peak Asian in my other Mazda and that is what I'll use in the RX-7. They are both a PHOAT formulation but how close to FL-22 I don't know as they are somewhat universal for Honda, Toyota, Nissan, and Mazda that use a PHOAT coolant. They come in Pink, Blue, and Green to match your manufacturer's color. The color is just a dye and has nothing to do with what the formulation actually is.

In my area AutoZone has the Peak and O'Rielly has the Zerex.
