coolant question...
I have an 89 vert, and a hose cracked and it started leaking coolant and steaming, so i found the cracked hose, and removed it, and drained all the antifreeze and stuff into a bucket, but i geuss the bucket was pretty dirty and there is a bunch of pineneedles and crap in it and i dont really wanna pour that back into the car. i was wondering if there was a Antifreeze:water ratio. ThanX.

You could go as light as 40% coolant, but because of the mix of aluminum and iron in the motor, the 50/50 will give you better protection against corrosion.
Do not reuse coolant unless it has been in a coolant only container. Oil, solvents, soaps, pine needles, anything left in the contanier will reduce the anti-corrosion capabilities.
