Coolant leak near oil filter

So a coolant leak has just popped up on me. I've pinpointed the location to a hose right under the oil filter. There seems to be a hose clamp that I can tighten. what might be the best way to go about fixing this leak?

That would be the heater hose. It's a common leak spot because the hose gets soaked in oil and softens up. Replace both the hose and the clamps. You can retighten all you want but it will fail at the most inconvenient time.

Yeah, we got the hose off, and lo and behold, lots of oil near the leak spot. Probably from the insane oil dump I made when my oil cooler lines exploded a year ago.

It's a pretty uniquely formed hose. Looks like something only the dealer might have.

Yeah, I wonder if Mazdatrix has it. I am thinking about replacing mine also.

Mazdatrix has them and they're around 35 bucks. If you have a Mazdaspeed membership, they're going to be around 21, but it's a little hard to find.

Luckily, I have the part number and it's FB03-61-211

There is also FB01-61-211C, but I think that's for auto tranny models. Looks like the same thing though.
