Coolant leak from fill cap

Alright so I had a leak from my fill cap shortly after the car started driving, I had replaced a few caps to see if I could get one to work and it only got worse so I ordered a whole new adapter from Mazdatrix and it seemed to be ok for a while and I popped my hood this weekend and its leaking again. Should I just go with a solid aluminum one and call it a day or what?

looks like its been doing more than leaking, looks like its been spewing everywhere also

and is it just me, or does it look like the adaptor is clocked wrong?

it's not clocked wrong, that extra threaded hole is for the stock engine harness bracket.

if it's been such a big issue, i have a feeling you are having overpressure issues in your cooling system.

Ahh ok, just looks different than mine

And i was going to suggest overpressureing also for how much it has sprayed

The spray seems to be mostly caused by the clutch fan, if I catch it wet its usually just a drip from the corner that you can see the residue.

So what causes over pressure in the rotary? Internal seals fucked? If so that blows cause I just had this engine built. I have the Sankei cap on the radiator thats rated at .9 bar so what ~13psi, should I lower that one?

Is that an actual FLAT cap or a pressurized cap?

you should get a pressure tester and find out where exactly the coolant is coming from and at what PSI

If your engine sending compression to the cooling system? Bad coolant seals?

It doesn't seem to be its such a rare occurrence and has seemed to have stopped. It is super weird for sure.
