Coolant leak...

Okay, I normally dont post things like this without digging deeply myself. I was on my home this evening in my 87 turbo II and noticed the coolant temps above normal, pulled over and found the car to be low. I had just checked it the day before and it was fine, the more I looked, the more I feared I had lost a coolant seal on the way home. Topped it off with water and rushed back to work by the time I had made the 5 mile drive back to work the coolant was already getting low again. Pressure testing in the 5 minutes I had before work closed its doors and forced me out for the night. (Not driving the 7 back home mind you) I saw the stream coming down the drivers side of the front cover.

Kinda hard to see in this picture, again it was rushed. Coming from behind the cas running down along the white gasket there between the front cover and the rest of the keg. In my research tonight it shows a gasket behind the water pump housing to connect it to the keg. If this is not my leak, is it possible to pull the front cover off without having to do a rebuild? Or at that point am I looking at a rebuild? I will know more in the am, just trying to prepare myself for the worst case scenario.

An hour or so later of one on one with the car with a bore scope and a pressure tester and found the water pump housing to keg gasket leaking
