Coolant issue

Ok I seem to be having a problem with my cooling system. I'm loosing coolant somewhere but I can figure out where its going, no puddles and its not burning it. So I replaced my radiator cap and thermostat with OEM parts. I pressure checked my system and it didn't bleed down. I replaced the hose that goes from the overflow tank to the cap/filler/thermostat housing thing that my 87 has. Heres the deal, it has good pressure and never over heats, but some how I'm loosing coolant, and it wont suck the coolant back out of the overflow tank sometimes..... I pulled the EGI fuse and has someone crank it over for me and sat and looked at the coolant to make sure there weren't any combustion gas bubbles in it, safe there. So whats going on??? I had it pressurized for like 3hrs waiting for something to drip down but nothing...
Thx in advance
Scott

Grab a mirror and a flashlight, and take a good look at the underside of the water pump, specifically the weep hole. That's a hard one to spot leaking after shutdown, until it REALLY starts spewing, lol...

OK, my next guess is radiator, then, especially if you still have the stock one on her...

Can you smell vaporized coolant after shutdown?

My 87 water pump housing had a crack in the back side where I couldn't see it.
A common leak is the heater hose connection under the oil filter.
Another one is the 3/8" coolant line from the rear of the TB to down under the UIM into the rear plate.

Yeah its got a stock radiator I had it rodded out last year so it should be good to go for another year or so I'd hope. I'll have a look at the pump housing and see if thats where its at.
I'm using a 50/50 mix with a bottle of water wetter too.
Most the hoses are new, I rebuilt this engine in the summer and replaced alot of the old hoses ect. It isn't doing it now so.... I hate intermittent problems.

When I park the car, my quick check is to smell the air the vents at the hood hinge area.
Any fuel or coolant leak smell will tend to concentrate there.
