ok I have a question I have two coolant lines I want to block off one hose is the one that comes out of the back of the waterpump can it be blocked and the other is on the drivers side of the block can it be blocked off or can all lines be blocked besides the two main lines going to the radiator..... oh and I no longer have the ratsnest or Bac and all vac lines blocked

Yes, you can block both those lines if you have eliminated the coolant feed to the throttle body. However, the only drivers side coolant feed is the heater core, so unless I'm missing something else you did, you still should have that. There is a coolant feed on the rear iron at teh passenger side underneath the lower intake which can be blocked.

it's best to pull out that nipple and thread the existing whole, then shove a bolt in with a thread locker.
If you start capping nipples the cap will only last so long before you have a coolant leak again.
If it's an easy spot to reach that's one thing, but the one on the top of the block (under the plenum) I wouldn't want to have to tear the block down to re-fix it.

ok this is what I did I bought a t fitting and some hose clamps and basically ran the hose from the back of the water pump to the hose from under the manifold and then ran the other hose from the top of the intermidiate drivers side housing to the T fitting so now there all connected to each other not sure if the coolant will flow anywhere but im sure it will be blocked off... I will see tomorow when I put the new water pump on...
