Question Coolant Burning or No?

I never really thought about this until yesterday I was letting my car warm up and my friend (knowing nothing about Rotary engines) said I was running rich because it smelled so sweet. So I searched on here for some info and I was reading about burning coolant and you get white smoke and a sweet smell. Well my car never smokes unless its from the warm exhaust in the cold air on upon start up for a brief second. I have gotten a low coolant warning light though about 3-4 times in the past few months. My overflow tank never goes down though and my radiator is only barely low. Any suggestions on what I can do or how I can check whats going on? Thanks.

you might just have a small leak in a coolant hose somewhere. To test your coolant seals in your motor just take out both EGI fuses in the engine bay, take your coolant filler cap off and crank the motor and see if coolant starts shooting out of the filler neck
