Coolant Bleeding Problem

Coolant Bleeding Problem

so i tried unscrewing my bleeder cap on the radiator neck and i see that the previous owner has permanently glued it in there so i don't want to risk breaking the bleeder or radiator. whats a way to get the air out of the system with the bleeder being permanently shut? thanks!

burp it. take the radiator cap off and let the car run you will see the bubbles coming out. let the car warm up just watch the coolant level beacuse if theres a big air pocket that comes out its going to suck all the coolant in

30 dollars, holy crap thats alot lol
I would just open the rad cap, turn the heat on and let the engine run for while, just make sure its not overheating.

Is that the way you buy things on the first offer? I googled Lisle Funnel and posted the first link. Look a little, get a little better deal.

I paid $14 for mine 5 years ago. I have used it on 3 different FC's, 4 other cars, an Econoline Van, and a medium duty UD truck. It's a nice piece and a worthy tool to add to anyone's shop. I have more expensive tools that have been used less often.

If my Lisle Funnel disappeared, I would buy another immediately, even if I had to pay $30.
