Coolant additive idea

I've got a sligt leak aroundthe lower manifold and there's a little coolant coming out. My idea was to use some of that stuff that fixes holes in radiators and see if that helps fix the little spots that the coolants coming from. Any idea if that would work, blow something, etc? Thanks

how much work is that? I've heard the turbo needs to come off to get to the gasket, but it didn't really look like it from underneath the car. Any estimates of time to change it? thanks

:P yes, the turbo HAS to come out! the compressor side covers 2 nuts that hold the lower manifold on.. you can get a small spanner on them.. but there is no way are u gunna be able to move those lil suckers!

time estimate: long! :P 5 - 6 hours (do it on the weekend, take it off saturday, clean, put everything back on sunday)

pissing offish estimate: 10 out of 10! yes, more annoying than an engine pull IMHO! (ie. ~32 nuts/bolts as opposed to 8 for the engine)
