Convertible Stereo Related

I did some searching and couldn't find anything much about rear sound options for the verts.

I don't want a sub-box eating my precious trunnk space up, so anything outside of the headrest speakers would be nice---if you have pics of what you've done that would be nice.

I wouldn't mind seeing what the headrest speakers look like either as I have seen them and am investigation the cost of putting them in with my Pioneer System.

PM me if you'd like to send Pics.

If you remove the cover where the top lays when its down. You will see that you could fit one or 2 subs in there. I used 2 twelves with great success.

I threw an amp in there with an el-cheapo walmart $12 sub..sounds surprisingly good. Also I upgraded the door speakers as well.

I've upgraded the door and under dash....so an AMP and a sub will in that area would probably work for me...my issue was I don't want to be showy, as it might invite someone to come and "borrow" my stereo..

I removed the little plastic speaker boxes from the floor behind the seats, made a plywood panel that mirrors the plastic/carpeted panel that goes over the hump and mounted 3way 6x9's instead. When it was done it looked factory. Unfortunately I have since become a weight junkie and the whole stereo is now gone so I don't have picks to show.
BTW I have factory vert stereo parts laying around ( amp, switches, seats ) if you or anyone else needs them.

I plan to fiberglass an enclosure into the spare tire zone under the top. I just slapped the spare in the trunk in that little dip near the rear that was the original spare tire area. I keep it real....real safe.
