convertible leak

ok, well I just got my rx7 about 1 month ago and after i washed it, I noticed that the driver side floor was soaked in water. The drains dont looked clogged, but I dont know where any water could get into the car besides there. are there any other common spots where water gets into the car?

thanks in advance, and great website!

The convertible leaks on all for corners of the targa section. on the front of the window where the little cups are can leaks into the car, and also on the back of the window where the the window meets the weather stripping... also mine leaks where the button is to flip the targa section down when lowering the top...

do you or anyone have pics of those cups where it leaks in the front. the only place i could think that would be is under the windshield wipers. If it is those cups, how could i seal up the leaks?

thanks for all the help guys, im just tryin to get this leak fixed before im 16 and have to drive the car every day. once i clean her up, i'll post some pics!

You also want to check that the rubber on the long part on the top of your door called the "outer door window seal" is actually touching the window. If the rubber has gotten brittle and pulled away from the glass the water will drain down the window, past the seal and into the door, exiting at the interior bottom of the door.

The top itself is perfect and has no leaks. wherever the leak is coming from, it must be hidden because i still cant find where the water is coming from.

Also, is there any possibility it could be leaking from the firewall or underneath where there could be a hole to let water in?
