Convertible BBS Wheels Question

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows the hub bore diameter of the factory 15x6.5" BBS wheels that come on a convertible RX7. I am considering getting a set to put on my other car which isn't an RX7...

Hub bore? You mean huge circle in the middle of the wheel that the dust cap can be seen thru? 60mm I believe. At least so on my 16" stock Mazda BBS.

60mm sounds a little small...but maybe that is what it is.
The problem is that it (hub bore) must be the same (preferrably) or larger than the car's hub.
The car I was thinking about putting the wheels on is a 94 MX6, which has a 67mm hub, so if the center bore is 60mm, they wouldn't even mount in the first place, even though the bolt pattern is the same. Maybe someone here knows what the factory RX7 hub size is...then I would know that the wheels are at least that size, if not larger.

Since any 5 lug rx-7 has the same wheelbearing and hub, just different brake rotors/calipers, I measured a set of 16" turbo II rims, and 15" GXl rims.

Both returned 60mm, actually it looked closer to 59mm to me. So no way it will ever work, unless you take a diegrinder to them.

BTW, raced any fast millenia's lately??

I bet those bbs rims (if bored to fit) would stick out like Daytons on low riders being that MX6 is fwd.

Come on...Assuming the vert wheels are even as low as 35mm offset, the wheels would stick out 10mm more than stock...a whopping 0.39" from the stock 45mm offset (that almost all FWD cars use).
Reguardless, they won't bolt on in the first place, without taking them to a machine shop due to the small hub bore.
I was just considering these as an option for winter wheels that would look better than stock. I guess I will look into some wheels that I know are absolutely hubcentric from Millenia, 626, Probe, etc...they share the same hub.

My bad, it just so happens that the offset b/w the mx6 & rx7 is only a 2mm difference, 42mm vs 40mm, resp. My other fwd has like +65mm offset so I was just assuming, sorry bout that. I might consider mx6 rim if they're as light as the BBS for half the price.

The hub bore for the stock BBS wheels that were OEM on the convertible is 59.61mm. This is the same for size for the GTU and GXL. I learned this first hand when I fit my convertible with 17inch wheels

Thanks, yes definitely 5 lug. So 114.3 is the rim size? I was seeking a low-profile tire (really for the look and drop the vehicle height a little). I had Altimax HP 205 60R15 on it, but time for new tires, so thinking something with cool treads and perhaps the low-profile. Don't drive in rain or bad weather.
