Consistant, annoying, effed up hesitation
My car (n/a) has this horrible hesitation problem. It is not the 3800 hesitation, though I used to have that also. It is much more violent. Enough to break traction in the rain (granted, I think my tires blow in the rain, but still)
It happens always right after 2k RPMs. It doesnt happen on every shift, but it happens often. I will be accelerating and then with my foot still on the pedal, ALL power dissapears for about 1, sometimes 2 seconds and them SLAMS back on. It isnt so violent when say just cruising in 5th because Im not accelerating as hard.
I think it has also happened a couple times higher up at like 5k, and may do it just as often I guess, but I dont get up there nearly as often as 2k so I dont notice it.
I bought a multimeter and have tried adjusting the TPS on 2 separate occasions since it started happening. It is correctly adjusted as far as I can tell.
Could it be because it needs a new fuel filter really bad? I know it does, but the fact that it does it at the same RPM everytime makes me think that thats not it.
It also is probably due for new plugs/wires.
Help is really greatly appreciated, I have posted about this before and gotten nothing. Thank you in advance!!!

I dont have a TII but my FC S4 is doing the same thing. I hesitates at around 2300rpm at cruse speed and then goes away. When this happens my homemade dionostic onboard computer(two lights from radio shack) flashed a O2 sensor code for about 5 min. then stops when i hit the accelerator. It just started doing this today after I reinstalled the 6port actuation system and put the secondary injectors in the place of the primary injectors, I also replaced the connector on the O2 sensor, the last thing i did before i put everything back together was remove the pulsation dampener and put a block off screw in its place( The screw was from a used fuel rail). I have a feeling that the injectors may be the problem or mabye the fuel pump( since the car feels like it is running out of fuel). I am going to replace the injectors and the O2 sensors and keep you guys posted,

Here's what we got. I replaced the primary injectors with some remans. and I also replaced the secondary injectors. While i was under the intake i checked all the wireing and the grounds also. All of the wires looked good. I then hooked up my six port system and tuned it to operate at around 4k rpm. Then the moment of truth. It worked!!! No hesitation what so ever, also it runs a whole lot better. I replaced the stock 460cc secondary injectors with 550cc and i noticed an improvement in the top end power. If you guys dont do anything else take out the injectors and send them off and have 'em cleaned also check the wireing. The trouble code that I was getting concerning the 02 sensor was telling me that the engine was running lean periodically that was the cause for the hesitation.
