What happens if the silencer hose from the ACV is left disconnected? I can't seem to find the original hose that connected the silencer input with the ACV output and before I go spending lots of time hunting it down, I'd like to know how loud and what kind of noise the ACV makes when venting. Is it that bad/loud?

 

Are you talking about leaving the ACV silencer off? If so, I took mine off and it made some sound when letting off the throttle, but it didn't bother me at all.

 

Yes that's exactly what I'm talking about... if it wasn't bad I'd prefer to leave mine off as well.
