Confirming Front Diff Mount Going Out

OK,

Had some slight banging upon shifting. Did a search and found pretty common for the mount to go out.

However, upon looking, all I found was that only the big metal turd attached to the mount bracket was hitting. I could tell it was the only thing because it was creating a "shiny" area that was associated with metal to metal contact.

So, anyway, off comes the metal turd but damn the rubber on it looks as dried up as your granny's... Anyway, is my mount going now?

Thanks,

Ben

I would assume so, considering it didn't move enough stock to hit anything...

I would replace it with a mazda competition mount. I've heard good things about them.

I went to the Mazda Comp mount have not put it to use yet but I compared it to the stock mount and it looks like a better made piece (stiffer)
