compression surge, blue smoke and the friendly low idle.
So I instaled a bunch of stuff. a stock turbo, blitz bov, 3" downpipe, dual exhuast, hks boobie filter.
but afterwards my car smokes during idle (blue smoke) and when i get on it. the car idles fine but if i come to a fast stop and put the clutch in the car's revs die down real fast and die. I hear the smoke could be a air/fuel problem or perhaps dumping too much oil in the motor?
and another but seperate problem if the bov. i've been messing around if it and nothing happens but this sound that sounds like a turkey gobble which the blitz bov isn't suppose to sound that way and i've heard that is compressure surge. But! i was messing around today and i got the bov to crack. I had to get on it and hit 7 psi to make it crack but that sucks becuase if i hit anything less it wont.
any ideas?

The Blitz BOV that looks like a trumpet?
If it is, it's a piece of ****.
Open it up and you'll find that the piston valve is seizing in the bore - this is causing the compressor surge (i.e. turkey gobble) that's KILLING your turbo!
