Competition diff mount screws

Hello everyone I was curious about the rubber that comes on the pegs of the competition diff mount that I got from Atkins. Does it just sit in place or are there threads underneath the rubber.

Those are plastic caps to protect the threads. They just pull off.

Hot Dog is right. All OE drive train mounts have the little protective sleeves over the threads.I keep them for in case I need to cap off a vacuum port or something one day for testing or whatever.
