common p/s leaks

just curious as to the common power steering trouble spots and power steering leaks on the FC. i have a leak and before i get into it i was just curious if there are common problems associated with the power steering systems on the FC. maybe rack problems, poor lines, bad resivors, etc.

So far the cooling loop in front of the rad has leaked 2 times. I'm on my 3rd leak but have not found the source yet. FYI, car is an S4 88 GTU w/ 207K.

got the engine out and the rack looks ok. its dirty but i don see where it had ever been leaking. i'm guessing that it could be a leaky resivour or pump.

Or, you could just de-power your existing rack (though that might not stop the rack leak- then again if it's leaking at the hose connections, it might...).

i'm thinking the pump may be leaking. i can't see any evidence of rack failure or any leaking lines....
