Last night I was coming home on the 60fwy (westbound) and a Z28 decided to test his luck with the good old T2. I have full RB exhaust(w/cat), stock turbo and IC, FCD. I dont know what else is done to the motor(internals, fuel inj, etc.). I was semi on it all the was to 130mph. I couldnt floor it because I experience MAJOR boost creep. I was trying to watch my boost gauge, but I wanted to pay more attention to the road. I know I was boosting AT LEAST 12psi, probably more though. I was doing 130 for about 3 min. What do you think of my motor, would a stock motor have blown up?

I have a 88 TII and as far as i know the motor is stock..well i would pretty much bet my life it is stock. I have been 130 mph in mine also...i was racing a mustang..gt or cobra..couldnt tell. I dont know how long i was doing 130..not long though. didnt really know how fast i was going til i let out. oh the stock fuel system will only suport 10psi. you need to do fuel mods. a few people have run 15psi in fifth gear for about 2- 3 weeks before the motor went bang. so i would watch it. especially since cold weather is coming up.
