cold start

Hi, im not shure if this has been covered already but every time i want to start my car when its cold it just floods and i just wondered if there was anything i cold do to prevent that from happining

The faq only covers how to unflood it or im just missing somthing but i was wandering if there ar any ways to ever pervent that from happining or just figuring out whats wrong with it

Update: also i just rebuilt the engine and it has good compression.

your fuel injectors are leaking/bleeding fuelpressure when the car is shut off.
