Matters what type of car you have. TII or N/A?

Here is a link, very well detailed, pictures, and how he did it.

Good luck with it. And the reason for doing a cold air intake? Would you really need it? Is your engine getting that hot? Only way I would see of doing this-minus the gobs of hp you "CAN" gain- is if your engine is getting too hot.

Anywho, good luck man.

Yeah, he decided to focus on school and get married as well. He's keeping the car, he just won't be working on it anymore.... supposedly . We'll see if the rotor calls him back.

I have an aztechrotary-type CAI running in my FC. Too bad I promised Santiago I would never reveal how it is set up. Ingenious design.

Noo... Second Gen people are really cheap... the third gen guys throw money at their cars like they are shoveling potato chips out the window... I know.. there are three of them up the street!!!!

Mostly, I think its cause if most of us second gen people had the money, we'd have third gens!!!!!

That's what I did. But, I think he still wants to manufacture them. He only told me how to make it if I promised not to tell anyone else how I made it.

I don't break promices.

I am not completely gone guys. I only watch from the FC heavens now. I am leaving AZ up and running because it is one thing that I will likely still follow up on. But it looks like the TII CAI is not going to be made available any time soon. Wankel7 is probably not going to be around to allow me to test on his TII so I will have nothing to use as a guinea pig. All I can say to you all now is use you minds and imaginations. A CAI is something relatively simple to create and use effectively but you have to think outside the box as it were. Good luck to all you DIY'ers.

Santiago

PS- I'll be watching.
