i have a 3" TID like the small rubber one... do you think it 'll work or is this only n/a. if so i'll buy one tomarrow. hate to be picky but i want to see a picture with the corner and turbo plumbing and further away from car......

88 vert mine is about 7in and it should fit about 9in but you can move the box more back and i can make one a little biger for you

any idea where the neck of the air filter connects on the S4 vs the S5? it seems to be several inches further back on the S5 than on the S4 in your pictures. if so then the box would need to be mounted further back and that would require a different shape to it.

The guy who has this one has a post in the 2nd gen section, he will send you the template to make thisone for 5 bux us and 8 bux can. I am goin wth the aluminum one, looks so much better.

good luck on getting it to look like his does unless you have time and patience. i used the aluminum design (but with steel and a good coat of paint) to put in a box without the lid and used weatherstripping to seal it to the hood. it's not the prettiest thing without the lid, and also you have to remember the cost of parts to get it as well.

bingoboy it should work just mine was not mounted yet and it moves a little more back but it is for 86-92 so it should work

here's mine. It feeds through a hole cut in front but the top could be left off for top feeding. Have since remade it in carbon but don't have pics. Might be convinced to make another if the price is right. Would definatly be $100+ closer to $200. Parts are vac formed and have quick release fasteners on top.

Yes it's an s5. I'll have to say anywhere between 4 and 5 inches would be a safe bet.
