Coilovers

Hey guys. With "project Rebirth" underway i'm looking into which coilovers to buy. I found these on eBay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ADJUS...s#ht_796wt_958 Just wondering if they'd be decent for weekend driving and monthly/bi-weekly drift events. They have the same spring rates and adjustably as the K-sports or Megan Racing units...But a MUCH cheaper price.

Springs are the cheap part of a suspension setup.
Those springs are all probably different rates.
Those struts are probably horrible, and the whole setup is cheaply made.
I'd say they're probably a waste of money, but we never know until someone tries them out.
Do you want to be the guinea pig?

I'd suggest you save your money and buy something thats tested true.

http://farnorthracing.com/autocross_secrets18.html

when you buy a shock/coilover kit the MOST IMPORTANT THING are the dampers. #2 is the ease of repair, you can buy another koni, but if you have a bad JIC shock, you're SOL.

springs are easy and cheap, even top of the line hypercoils are $52 each.

this applies even if you're NOT racing. the shocks have a HUGE impact on ride quality.

you still don't get it ? everybody is literary telling you to GET SOMETHING ELSE.

Item location is at : 江蘇省, China. That province has quite a lot of factories that make auto parts.

You can be our hero and try the setup, it could be really good to be honest. Cuz China's manufacture's skills has been greatly improved over the past couple of years. Its just that no one wants to be that "first one to try" that's all.
