clutch tread

so i have been searching for alittle over an hour about diffrent clutches and havent really found like an offical clutch tread or any thing of that sort. i just wanna get evry ones opinion on diffrent clutches. i dont wanna buy any clutch befor i consult some one who already has it. from what i have read evry one like the ACT clutch. wich i have been thinking about getting but i wanna know about other clutch options as well. i have also read not to get the F1 racing stage 3 on ebay because they like to slip even after 3 weeks. my friend as a spec clutch on his rb20 240 and loves it but i would like to get some info from some rx7 guys befor i do that. and there is 2 other really big ones on ebay. the xtd and xtr wich i havnt read any thing on them. and im shure theres others that im forgetting about but. any info would be nice.
thanks marshall

There's a reason everyone runs ACT ... proven track record and their clutchs function fantastic in our cars, if not everyother type of car as well.

For what it's worth, exedy manufactures all the center sections for ACT

Never heard of them, but I can tell you that it looks like rebadged Clutchnet stuff. I've seen about a zillion of those things. They sell to just about everyone.

http://www.clutchnet.com/home.php

Look at the picture on their main page, look familiar?

Nope. And an ACT isn't *that* expensive. You wanna talk expensive clutches, lets talk multi-disc carbon.
