Clutch stuck to floor

I have my 87 N/A and I was driving on the highway and I went to shift and the pedal stuck to the floor. You can bring it up and down but it's as if you have the clutch bleeder screw undone. I am not sure what is is being I have no leaks, the clutch cylinder was almost full upon inspection and it didn't help at all when I bled it earlier today. What could be up?

What he said. They're really cheap parts, not worth doing it twice. You can always upgrade to a stainless braided line, if that's your thing, since you're in there.

Same thing happened to me and I replaced master and slave and problem solved as everyone else has said. If anything goes wrong with the clutch hydraulics its best to replace everything since it's so cheap.

I got mine from napa. Which turned out to be a mistake since the local store messed up and didn't order the part then charged on shipping on it, but that's just a gripe with them. Most parts stores should be able to get them for you, or you can always go to mazdatrix if you want oe parts.

Mine failed intermittently at first as well. What happens is the seal around the piston in the master cylinder allows fluid to pass around. This means the pedal travels to the floor, the piston moves forward but the fluid is not pressed. So no clutch activation and no force to push the pedal back off the floor.

I got mine at a local parts store called carquest because my girlfriends step dad knows the owner and I got a 10% discount. I paid 110$ for both master and slave cylinder and it took not much time to replace, unless.... you kinda drop a nut underneath the carpet near the pedals... In which case it took us half an hour to eventually find it. I bet in the U.S these parts are cheaper.

Wanted to ask since I'm finally in the middle of changing everything, I have a huge hardline I'm using, could I just hardline the whole hydro line from master to slave?

Nope, you need a flex line to absorb engine vibration.
A better idea would a single flex line from master to slave.
