your slipping it. firstly dont run ur clutch like that brand new. give it a break in period. thats how people ruin new clutches. hopefully you havent gone past the point of no return.

A new clutch will stink a little. But I agree w/ Huggy, be careful on it. A new clutch needs to be broken in so that it has a nice long life.

Nice work. That's an expensive clutch to have toasted by burning it out. Hope you've got some cash laying around.
Clutches require a break-in period of at least 500 miles (more with centerforce). This means no boost, no 4000+ rpms, and no WOT.
Did you regrind your flywheel?

sometimes I just have to shake my head... not only at the lack of common sense of some people, but at the manufacturer's for not recognizing these people exist and printing up something to go along with their products. I doubt this is the first person Racing Beat has seen that's glazed a brand new clutch by not breaking it in, so how hard would it be to type up a quick note to go in the box?
Same goes for Fuel Cut Defenders. Would it be too hard to mention "be warey of your boost levels by using this product as detonation may occur." I often wonder how many people have blownt heir engines using just the given information on the RX-7 websites...

I was kinda hard once on my clutch when I put it in (CAP high performance) and I stuck it up once. After that, I was VERY careful for the next month. Gotta use your head when you mod your car. This could've have been a very expensive mistake bro. Hope all turns out ok for ya!!
