Clutch Question.

alright i need a new clutch due to doing the TII swap. and the TII drivetrain swap. so i was lookin into a centerforce dual friction clutch.. but my question is, will the centerforce clutch have the same stiffness on the pedal as my ACT 4 Puck HD PP? i like the stiffness on the pedal and i would like to keep it but i was thinking of trying out a new clutch and i heard the Dual Frictions are pretty good..? any comments.?

Holy **** don't put in a 4 puck. I used to run a 4 puck in my n/a (actually, previous owner put it in). They chatter viciously any time you are moving out of a driveway, parking lot, etc. Furthermore, they are complete hell on your drivetrain. I used to drag race my n/a--why wouldn't you with a clutch designed to do that??-- and I ended up blowing my diff, shearing my stock differential mount in half, and then later blowing up my transmission (shot bearing, not just a synchro).

Get an ACT Street/Strip disc, then you can get the heavy duty pressure plate or xtreme one if you really want a stiff pedal.

If you use a 4 puck, the car will be extremely annoying as a daily driver (although it can be done), and it will eventually damage the drivetrain

i already have a 4 puck and i love it.. but thats me.. i would rather sacerfise the annoyingness for the better performance on the track or for the clutch kicks..
