Question How bad are the brakes?

I have a 87 SE. I was cursed with single pot brakes. I didn't want to do through the hassle of putting on 5 lug hubs and blah blah.

So the question is with SS brake lines hight DOT fluid and some Axis Pads ( http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/rot10901310-sy.html ).....

Will i be up the braking ability of the T2 or GTU?

BTW I have a new Slave Cylinder if that matters.

First alow me to tell u those axxis pads there are VERY DUSTY and also very noidy and will scar yoru rotors up., as for brake fluid go to the store and get some Castrol GTLMA it is a Dot3/4 brake fluid compatible with all dot 3 fluid but has a higher temp rating.
the ss lines will work MAGIC on the braking system.

if u want a nice pad I have an Axis pad different compound GREAT STOPPING no dust for 45.00 shipped I also have a centric ceramic pad for the rear for 45.00 shipped

I accept paypal these pads are in stock and I can shipout imediatly

When I did my brakes, I went with all new front rotors (x-drill + slotted) and new rears (brembo blanks) and all new axxis ceramic+kevlar pads. As opposed to stock, they definitely bite harder, and stop better.

Truly though, your braking system is only as good as your tires. If you've got a set of sticky tires, and can't get them to lock up when you stop on it, that would be a good time to upgrade your brakes, IMO. My axxis pads ARE dusty, as well.

When I need new brakes I am going to go with SS braided lines, Hawk HPS pads, along with the 4 POT upgrade...

I don't really care about dust. What I do is clean and wax my wheels and the dust comes right off.
