Clutch purchase opinions

I'm in the process of purchasing a clutch for my 91 T2 and was wondering if yall experts can help me decide between the BNR stage 1/stage 2, RX-7 Store's Street/strip, and RX7.com's standard street clutch. My mods are DP, HKS intake, FCD, and a Maxspeed Catback. Only upgrades I plan anytime soon are a MP and fuel pump, so I'm not sure what stage clutch I should get.

I usually don't mess with anything less than an ACT.&nbsp ACT is the standard for import high-performance clutches.

6 puck

Hey. The six puck is a little harsh for your mods! If you don't plan on anything else, a stage 1 or a stage 2 will do great. I would hate to see you chatter your teeth out with the ACT, b/c I have one in my 1g. I bought it several years ago, just had it lying around. . ACT has some good stuff, but in my opinion, they are pretty much designed the same and made w/ the same disc material. In my price I include a throwout bearing and alignment tool, which would cost you extra from ACT. I might be wrong about that, but check it out and see what you think.
take care,
Bryan

I guess from all the feedback, my best option would be to stay away from any pucks if I want to a streetable ride?.

My order from rx7store comes with the 6 puck, pressure plate, throwout bearing, clutch alignment tool and I believe the pilot bearing(not positive on that). I highly doubt you can beat the bang for the buck factor on that. $305 to my door.

I had a 6 puck in my GTU, It grabbed hard but not like everyone is making it out to be. Its streetable, do you want to replace your clutch again once you start getting more mods? You know your gonna keep trying for power. Do it right the first time. Thats the way I look at it.

Thanx for all the help guys..not planning on any major upgrades till after winter when it's sitting in, so I'd rather get a streetable clutch for now. So no puck=smooth engagement, anyone know the makes on the BNR Stage 1 and Stage 2 clutch's?
