Clutch Problems (throwout bearing?)

Wehn i depress the clutch pedal nothing happens, the clutch stays engaged. First thing i checked was the slave and master cylinders, and like i thought they seem fine and were both replaced less than a year ago. So whats left the throw out bearing? And how much should the fork on the top of the tranny be moved back by the slave cylinder?

Did you see the clutch fork actually move when the pedal was depressed?

The part of the fork sticking out of the top of the bell housing only moves about an inch.

well after reading another very similar thread and your replies it seems that the clutch hydrolics are find and it must be in the tranny so eys assman20a it is tranny removal time but not horay, i'll be doing it on jack stands in a gravle driveway in 30 degree weather.

Removed mine and replaced the entire clutch last week. Wasn't that bad but it was also 70 outside.
