Clutch problems?
My clutch pedal staye down last night and couldn't shift gears I had to pull out the pedal and then it worked fine. Went to check it this morning with the car off pressed the pedal with my hand came up fine but went back in by it self. i looked aroung the outside by the cylinders and can not see any leaks. The fluid level is close to the full line but the fluid does look black. Is there any way to flush the old fluid for new fluid the Haynes book does mention anything.

Also check the inside of the car where the Master bolts up for wetness, if tehre is then replace the master (and probably the slave as well, why not).
To flush the fluid if you find no leaks or wetness then you can flush the system like it were a brake system replace with new fluid, the bleeder is located on the Slave.

i agree with the above. although a clutch hose can look fine, it can collapse internally. replace or rebuild you clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder. while you're at it, replace the hose for good measure. i really like the feel of a braided stainless hose. i got mine from racing beat and really like it.
