Clutch problems

Alright i replaced the clutch, piolet bearing and thrust bearing, I put in an act street clutch. I replaced the master clutch and rebuilt the slave. After a couple of weeks the master went out so i rebuilt that and i'm waiting for the new slave to come in. Has anyone else had this problem with act street clutch? I also have a braided hose for the clutch line. Please let me know what to do. Or if anyone else has had this problem.

I bought that clutch for my toyota and it works great. Just be sure your flywheel gets re-furbished(sp?) so you don't get any clutch chatter.

Putting in a new clutch, piolet bearing and thrust bearing should NOT have anything to do with why your Clutch master clyinder and slave cylinder are going out. Did you put in the right fluid?(DOT 3 brake fluid) Are you sure you don't have a leak somewhere in your lines? Like in between the hard line and steel braided.

slave and master cylinder are totally seperate from the actual clutch and drivetrain. If your master goes out then you replace it. It should be fine after that. Same goes with slave. There's nothing unique that can happen to them. It's a pretty simple and solid system made by mazda. Replace that slave and then see what happens. Did you bleed the system right? Or check to see if the push rods are bent on both the master and slave cylinders. They should be straight as an arrow.

How do you know that your master or slave cylinder's are going out in the first place? What does it feel like? What are the symptoms?

Well my master went out a week ago and it was only 2 weeks or so old, the problem was that i couldn't shift it into any gear, the first thing i did when it went out was bleed it cause needed to be somewhere so i did that and it still didn't work, so i rebuilt it and it worked pretty poorly but i could get it into gear so i put in an order for a new master when that came i didn't hold fluid at all so i was a little upset with that. Now its working alot better. I bled it some more when i reinstalled the rebuilt master clutch. Its still not back to what it was but hopefully with a new clutch slave it will be back to what it was. I have to hold in the clutch for a few seconds, then its easyer to shift. Its kinda annoying to have slow shifts. Thanks for the advice its nice to hear that this problem can be fixed without having to drop the tranny.
