Clutch problem, need help

Hey guys heres the problem. I went to my parents house about a week ago to visit. As I was leaving town I stopped by my friends house. Pulling up to his driveway I was going about 20, so as I turned in I hit the break and the clutch and downshifted into first. As I put it in gear I got the "bzzzzzzz if you cant find em grind em" noise and the shifter kicked back out of first and jarred my hand. I proceeded to shift back into first and pull in, everything seemed fine. An hour later I drive away and stop about 100 yards down the road to inspect everything, since I noted the clutch pedal had lost some of its resistance and the car was becoming harder and harder to put in and out of gear. When I stopped the clutch still felt like its resistance was at about 50% and the car wouldnt go into any gear, it was just stuck in neutral. After pumping the pedal a few times and messing with moving the car forward and back a little bit I could get it to go into gear but not consistantly. So I left it over night, the next day I managed to drive it home by pumping the clutch and repeatedly trying to put it into gear untill it went in. The clutch master cylinder is still full of fluid, and I kinda checked the slave, although I couldnt really get at it, but it didnt look like it was leaking, or if so it wasn't making a mess. Now the problem is that I work everyday and im bumming rides, and my car is an hour away. Cash flow is limited right now so I don't wanna go replacing stuff that I don't need. What do you think it is? Also something to note is that when I first go out to the car in the AM it will shift into gear normally a few times and then will get progressively harder.

Check to see how far the slave piston gets pushed out. It might be a bad slave or master cylinder and it might not be pushing all the way.

Master Cylinder shot. Internal leak. I'd replace master, slave, and hose. Try www.nopionline.com. Good price for Tokico hydraulics.

ok, those are good prices turbo nut. You guys are sure it would have nothing to do with the bearings or fork being broken? That was my biggest worry.

I got mine for like 350 from the private garage that did my rebuild install. He probably has a good source though.
