Angry Clutch pedal won't go down

My clutch pedal will only travel down about an inch and a half. There is no fluid in there but I don't think that is any reason for it not moving. It is really hard to move in, it won't travel any farther.

if you press it down hard enough it will make a big blunk and it will take no pressure to push down. It's a new slave cylinder you need, thats what i think. It happened to me, 200 dollars later! :S

I sure hope not. I tried laying down real hard on this pedal and I am a big guy, and it just won't budge. If it could be rebuilt, I would. Oh and another thing, the car was converted from an auto to a manual if that were to make a difference. The linkages look fine.
