Well, it is back in. I put my engine back in today. But I got in, hit the clutch pedal, and it went to the floor. I freaked, and hit the pedal a few times, and it suddenly got pressure again. Now, it feels fine. The car will run (it kicked over today) tomorrow when I get some distilled water, and a few odds and ends. Is this weird?

 

mine did the same thing...it gets air in it. bleed the slave cylinder to be safe and everything should be cool.

 

Do I really need to bleed it? The pedal now feels fine. Also, how did air get in it? I remove the engine, not the slave cylinder?

 

With mine, the little rod in the cylinder fell out while I was putting on the throw out bearing. If its working OK now, I wouldnt worry about it...just had to build pressure back up in it.
