Clutch now not working properly

The other day i was trying to downshift into 1st gear at around 15mph. A (semi) loud pinging was heard inside the bell housing area and now i have a weird problem.

Clutch no longer feels hydrolic..but more like a mustangs.

I can feel the engine vibrations through the clutch pedal.

It shakes the car from a stop. I have to rev it to ~2500 to get smooth engagement.

What does this sound like....pilot bearing? T/O bearing?

The car is still drivable.

Thanks
Jef

The master/slave cylinders and the clutch line are all completely bled and less then 6 months old. It honestly sounded like something in the bell housing broke.

I'll check the fluid though just to be sure.
