Clutch master cylinder difference in turbo/na model?

Ok so I believe my clutch master cylinder has failed, the resivour was dry so I added new fluid, however the fluid does not move at all in the resivour when the clutch is pumped... Clutch is still spongy and sticks from time to time. I know that air is in the lines and the system needs to be evacuated and refilled.

Anyways my question is there any difference in master cycinder between a TII or an NA? I don't see why there would be but it never hurts to ask.

I'm betting it's your clutch line.

I am in the process of replacing my clutch. My N/A vert has 155,000 mi. I am certain it is the original clutch, line, slave and master. My theory is to replace everything I touch, so I bought rebuild kit for the slave and master cyl from Oriellies for $25 total and a stainless line from Mazdatrix.

Look at how bad the clutch line is aged. It broke just taking it out.

Brake lines must be right behind as well.

I agree. I've just replaced the original hose with the SS line from Mazdatrix and I spent an extra $30 (for the master & slave cylinder rebuild kits + fluids) to replace everything. Now the clutch feels much better and this was a sure and very cheap way to fix my problem.

Clutch master's, no difference between NA and TII across 2nd Gens.

Clutch slaves, very much different between NA and TII.

^ yeah thats basicly what I figured by looking a various parts vendors, got one from here for $45, also got the SS line from Mazdatrix. Anyone know of any good deals for the slave cylinder, the cheapest I've seen is here for $46.
