Clutch Break In and Launch Technique

Clutch Break In and Launch Technique
Finishing up my TII vert swap. Should be up and running on Monday.
I have the ACT 6 puck unsprung race disk with the heavy duty pressure plate.
What would be a good break in period for the clutch?
Also once its broken in I wanted to go to the track. So what would be a good point to launch at? Slip it or drop it, etc?
Mods are
stock everything.
intake
rtek 1.7
720cc secondaries
I am also going to try to get full exhaust before I go.
Thanks,
Ark

Just curious, but why such a clutch for such a tame setup? Big plans?
Does ACT not have breakin procedures included with their clutch? My centerforce said 500 miles of CITY driving (stop and go) should break it in just fine.

im near 100 percent that most if not all 6 pucks do not need to be broken in like a full face. you just do a few drops to knock whatever glazing may be on the pucks and have at her.

And ACT had a clutch guide on thier website, so I chose the medium duty 6 puck.
Then I get it, look in the box, I'm like **** thats ***** unsprung. Oh well time for sexy calves or calf.
As far as the whole setup. Once it runs , fix the body , then prolly throw on a hybrid so I should get some use out of the clutch

Can anyone confirm this, I actually heard the same info from a few others. But I will be calling ACT as soon as they are open to make sure.

yeah, you don't have to break it in. Just "Bang-&-Go" . The 6 and 4 puck are ceramic clutches and are use in heavy duty applications, there hard to drive but at least it wont crap out on you like a fullface clutch. Ceremic pads on the 6 and 4 puck clutches are the ones that allow it to have a very low break in period(around my block lol) or no break in period. i hope there's no hills were you live at lol. you can break it in if you want, but there meant for racing. you don't see race car drivers in a race, breaking in there clutches lol.

I dont think it should be that bad, I've gotten a ride in a friends low 12 second Dodge Stealth , as far as I know his clutch was also an unsprung 6 puck and he was driving that around in flip flops so hopefully I can manage.
