Which clutch?
Which clutch?
I have a lightly modded vert (powerwise), but I am into drifting so I do a lot of clutch kicks, skid-pid **** like doughnuts and stuff.
Which clutch would you choose if you were me?

I have the ACT 6 puck copper unit in my 86 NA and it's perfectly streetable. I don't understand why people claim otherwise...
I don't think 4 puck = 6puck; or is that way numbers work in Canada? jk
Anyways I have heard many contrasting cliams concerning the "streetability" of the 4/6 puck clutches from ACT, and most ppl seem to agree that the engagement is too sudden for actual steet use.
Hell, if ACT tells me that these clutches are not suitable for the street, I am gonna believe them!

I'm starting out with a Centerforce Duel friction since this is my first RWD car and i acidentally drifted it in T.O. on the way home within 15 minute of buying it
but i'd like to try the 4 or 6 puck from act..
maybe if i get a chance drive an RX that has one to get more or less a feel for one to see if it suits my driving

I have used the centerforce D/F on my lightly modded '86 NA and have never had a problem, it has over 50 passes on the strip and a few days at holtville-

ACT says they aren't streetable, but then Mazda also tells you not to remove your air pump (they put a giant sticker right on the thing, after all!) or mess with your idle mixture screw beside the boost sensor and a pile of other warnings...
