Clicking noise, seems brake related.
So I posted a lil while ago (i think a week) that I was having a poroblem with a bang and click. So I got under the car and wacked everything witha rubber mallet. Everything is solid (though the bushing are getting pretty worn), no jingles or clicks or movement. Well actually there is a metal pipe to a rubber hose going into my pre-cat that was half *** ziptied on and was bouncing around (what is this for, I wasn't sure and just thought of it) and a heat shield that the bolt broke so it's bouncin a bit.
Now I figured ok it must of been the heat shield and the pipe, I got them down as best I could. I am driving today and I am hearing click click click again and I can feel it now. If I touch the brakes at all the click goes away (if I hit the brakes hard it makes 1 loud bang). It is only in the front right tire, and its new pads and a new calipur on that side. I tried tightening the caliper down, its as tight as it is getting. What else could that be? Did I buy shitty brakes and thier just wearin down real fast or...?
Help lol I am so confused and I want to start getting to astetic stuff lol

Allright I figured it out but it brings up a new question. On the 4 piston calipur there is a V clip that holds bthe pads in tights (goes under the slide pin then into a hole in the pad) ... my v-clip broke, how detrimental is it or will it just make the annoying click?

Check that your Caliper is on..Correctly..A buddy had the same problem..I found he had loose caliper Bolts to the Spindle..Only clicked when slight braking and then Nothing..If youare Missing that W Clip.I am Thinkin you are missing More Hardware on that Brake Caliper..I would be looking at a Hardware kit Replacement..maybe SHIMS too..(you have shims on..don't you?)
