Clearance when dropped

I was looking to lower my car 1.6 inches with intrax springs. I have stock 88 gxl wheels. I bought brand new 205/60/15 tires without thinking I should buy lower profile if im gonna drop. Does anyone have this much drop with these tires? Does it rub at all?

It doesn't rub, but you're going to have insane negative camber problems in the rear.
At the very least, you're going to need a rear camber adjust bar to dial out some of the negative camber.

i dropped my car 2 1/2 inches running 205/45/17and have no rubbing problem at all,but like ted said, i have a massive camber problem.I bought the racing beat camber adjuster. It doesent adjust the camber into specs.Im going with Tein adjustable upper pillow ball mounts.I know there are more companies that make these, but these are fairly cheap $180.00

if your drop was only .5 inches that may be a result of your old spings alread sagging much lower than stock hieght. I know my car probably won't sit much lower when i lower it but i would like a higher spring rate

you probably had old springs. the 1.6" advertised drop is drop from the stock heigth. What was the heigth of the car before the isntallation of the drop springs, i bet it was lower than stock.

Well, my car has coilovers, it's about 80mm off the ground, and it has 205/60/R15, only a tiny bit of scrubing in tight corners from the front, nothing to worry bout

They probably changed it cause anything over 1.0" drop is way too much...
