Unless its amercain made and has a 500ci big block chevy with 1,000hp its rice starting to get what i mean, its lame to be so worried your driving rice. if ya dont want rice het a 1970 muscle car and stfu, or be happy with your rice burning mazda!i am and i dont have anything execpt a hidden 650 watt stero!, Why do you want your car to look the same as everyone elses? thats were rice and HOTRODING came along a group of people desided they didnt wana look like everyone else and this started hotrods and the new civics are a far cry from a hot rod; But dont they stand out? and an rx7 with everything stock is just another car added to the huge list of normal cars but if you add an exhaust get a wicked paintjob and or anything else you dont have just a normal car anymore you have a hotrod if anyone wants to differ you can consult NHRA mag's.

Everyone who owns an RX-7 would like to personally beat you down.
Okay....#1 I'm not going to find them and beat them down, for I think that having ONE F#$%ING thing the same as a ricer, does not make you a ricer...if it does, then the blacklight I've got suctioncupped to my windshield is probably considered rice. The same with Euro's... a person putting just the euro's on their car does not make them a ricer. You don't become a ricer till you put a fart can, Aluminum wing, flashy paintjob, an over-used body kit, and oversized bling-bling-y style rims on it. That's what makes you a ricer

So far the riceboys haven't hit RX-7's
#2 The riceboy's have hit the RX-7's....I seem to recall a certain black RX that was featured in two magazines in one month and caused an uproar on the forum's like I didn't think possible.

The rice police are out in full force today. I don't give a **** myself. Do what you want. If you go to far though, people will laught at you, but that's about it.

An example of to far would be this 2nd gen ford probe I saw the other day. It had a Skyline 'GTR' emblem glued on the back. It totally looked out of place. The rest of the car was nice and clean.... now that was funny.

I agree, I don't like the tail lights on very many cars at all. But the main thing (sry "rice police") is to do what you like not what others like. NONE of US put money into YOUR car so f*ck what we say. Do what you like and that's that...people will talk about it either way

I hear if you take your stock taillights and put them in your oven @ 500 degrees farenheit for two hours, they loosen up and you can pull out the color linings and you're left with clear lights. Try it and let us know.

This oughtta be good.

It's the same. But forget them. Because it's what makes you happy. They can talk rice trash all they want, but there are cars that are GORGEOUS, with crazy mods and have wings, stickers, and euros, and they look fantastic. People have frequently asked about where to get euro's, but it's always been to no avail. At one point, a member here made some of his own, that looked decent, but they were in the S4 form and had 3 brake bulbs and sections with semi circles. Not exactly clean. Very nice for home made though. I've never seen any in S5 form (complete circles). So unfortunately, they're pretty much unavailable. But don't stop looking. Manufactures are picking up on RX7 stuff more and more these days.

And to you guys out there who say that they will come and kill him, or smash his lights if he gets euros? That's sweet. If him getting those lights, and putting them on is rice, that makes you guys WORSE than ricers. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Truly pathetic.

Ok I would rather have a stock look than have clear tails. YOu say they do it to look different I say they do it to look the same as their buddies. I would do it if there was only a handfull of cars that would ever have the clear tails. I would rather have a custom look than a look that any peice of **** idiot can go buy at pep boys or autozone. I don't think that altezzas or clear lights stand out at all. Specially when all but one CIBIC and TEG have them on. I like my S4 tails and I like the S5 tails even more. I have never seen any other car with the same tails have you? Only 7's have these that makes my car different. The fact that I can count about 50-60 mustangs in my highschool's parking lot makes me sick. But if me and ten of my friends were to look for FC's in the entire city we would find about 20. That makes me different. the fact that every day more and more 7's are lost to age or just get wrecked or fucked up makes my car rarer and rarer as time passes. This while all other cars keep getting more and more common. Even ones with altezzas. I don't follow fads guys I follow my own free will.

Back to the pont of this thread. I have never seen a vendor that makes these tails for our cars. sorry to dissappoint you. I would recommend that you make your own and make them personalized and completely different than all others on the road. Don't buy what thousands upon thousands have already bought. Unless you want to look the same. I think you want them so your car can look different so make them yourself. I beleive everyone can respect a "TRUE" custom job no matter the look.

It's your car, but personally I hate those lights more than any other thing you can do to a car.

I used to like them when the ricers did not use them on CIBIKs and pick up trucks with wings on the back. I would only buy something that is original and rare. One reason I have an RX-7. I would have some specialy made for me and pay the guy extra to destroy the mold and whatever notes and materials that he used. I like to set myself apart and not follow the fads and trenyness of the RICER community.
I feel you are wrong. rx-7s are not that popular at all.. they are popular to you and I and perhaps to the rest of the members of this board but hardly what i would call a fad.

Imagine if rx-7s were as common as civics would you feel any diffrent? My guess is yes you would. I know i would.

I bought my rx-7 because of the looks, performance and probaly above all else its exclusiveness. I live in michigan and im lucky if i see a rx-7 of any type/year at all. Im not sure how common they are were you live but for me its nice to have something few have. When i first saw clear tail lights on a car i thought they were cool just because i havent seen them before... I really didn't care too much for the look but now since they are cheap and avalible for almost any car they lose there rarity and become "rice". to me thats the defintion of rice but others feel its something that doesnt add to the perfomance of your car. If that was the case a fast moving box would be sufficent. But then again its just my opinion.

Well, first they would have to make them for our cars, which I hope they never do.

I'm all for doing whatever you want to your car. All these other guys are too afraid to be criticized over a website and are too afraid to have their own life so they jump on the bandwagon and ride it in. I'm amazed the MODERATOR let's this **** continue and even lets people threaten others! What kind of place is this!?

a place that didn't have a mod checking threads an hour ago.

But yellowgxl makes a good point, please limit the comments to no-threating likes or dislikes or this thread will be locked and offending members warned.

Obviously if I were to get clear taillights, they wouldn`t be altezzas. I said that I like the ones I`ve got, but if I found clear taillights with RED circlular lenses, I`d get them. The taillights I have right now are pimp......at night. Check out my homepage. The car looks mint. I just want to brighten the back end up a bit, while staying away from rice, or a civic. Damn I hate done up civics. So I`ll just keep killing them when I race them! Thanks for the comments. Peace

WOOHOO!! The Anti-Rice crowd wins!! Blowing away mustangs at the drag strip speaks wonders more than some clear taillights.
