Clear tailights???

Wasn't there some company that was making an aftermarket tail light setup for our cars? I don't THINK it was clear lights, but I'm not really sure. They also made tails for Silvias, 180SXs, Supras, Skylines. Anyone got a clue who that was?
I remember they had a tail light conversion that changed some tails from (I think it was a Nissan Silvia) normal to Diodes if that helps.

You know what 1990GXL, forget all these bias opinionated folks. They're all just rice-phobic. They're scared to be considered rice in the slightest form. Wings, euro tail lights, stickers.. I would be happy if there was at least the option. There is virtually no aftermarket for pre 90 cars. The 4 body kit's out there for FC's are either outrageously expensive, or ugly. I don't want altezzas on my car but I'd like them to exist. What about a carbonfiber hood or fenders? I look at this as discrimination, an 87 CRX has damn near a thousand body kits available, but I can only order a stock looking wing for my car from the same manufacturer. My $.02

That was acutally done tastefully. Most of the altezza and EURO tails that are out there look like crap. I enjoy the look of most factory clear tails because they look like they actually belong there.

Yeah, I don't hate them so much because of the rice factor, but the fact that they are UGLY AS ****, obviously hastily designed by some autocad monkey at APC's office and rapid prototyped in under a day with no actual design involved... The worst offender I've seen so far with these is the kit for the 2nd generation mitse eclipse... makes me want to

Ya know what would look nice? A blackout of all but the round part of the lights. I don't like that big blocky red thing, or especially the big blocky orange thing, they look nice at night or otherwise illuminated, but lights out they look pretty gay to me.
Something that would look kewl on say a red rx7 with white rims would be some lenses that are white when off and shine red when they are on, kinda like a YZF-R6. And make them round kinda like Skylines.
And what is so kewl about S5 lights, they look just like a ford thunderbirds

Look I would not put them on an FB FC FD but the RX8 has them it looks good but! they look clean and they do not look like the are out of place. I would not put them on a car that did not ccome with them stock because I hate ricers and do not want to do what they do (cosmeticaly to their crappy cars) My car is not supposed to look all "COOL" like 90% of the people here say clear tails look. all the tails that are around from the aftermarket do not look like the ones abouve on the 8. They look like clear plastic with tin foil on the back and red circles for the lighted parts. the ones that come stock on cars look "NICE" at best. I would still prefer regular style tails on the 8. I like to set myself apart from the "RICER" scene because they are just following what they see on TV shows and Movies. I likw to be appreciated for my individuality not what I look like.

Hmm those look sort of ok. I would have to see them in person. But those were in the stock S4 config. right? I actually like the S4(S5 are better but I still like the S4's)
