1. yes you can replace them with xenon bulbs or whatever you want.
2. the setup i used was equivalent to the stock lighting, but if you got brighter bulbs i would imagine it would increase visibility.
3. yes i know i need to make a shroud. i have not yet done so. if you use my instructions you should make a shroud.
4. it took me maybe a day to do.
5. the lights can go down, all the way up, and partially up. all with the kill switch. if you need i can send you a link to get instructions for a kill switch.
6. you WILL lose your ability to shine your lights thru your FTPs. that's why i'm going to put separate lights in my FTPs just like the jspec.
7. i have had no problems with the conversion. i had one bulb burn out. thats it.
