Clear Tail lights

Hey all,
Is there any one who has seen a clear taillight setup
for 86-91? If so, who sells em, how much?
If not, why are they leaving those of us with 2nd gens
out of the equasion? Surely we do have cars well
wothy of these lil trinkets.

Don't think there is any after market taillights for FC's thanks god. Just go to the junkyard and buy some off a parts car. More likely gonna find S4 lights. But better then busted ones!

rx7 or Civic or anyhting on a white car(for say) clear taillights look clean, much cleaner than an out of place, doesent match anything else on the car orange lens. I am with you my man(Nocept1)! They just got bad rep from all the Hondas with them, plus in the import scene everything is so faddish that nothing is cool 1 year later, sorta like Rap music(imo). I hate that about this scene. I own a speedshop so I see it all the time. Most trends arent worthy of a timeless apeal but some genuinely look nice. Altezzas are a untimeless trend (again opinion) but clear is just clean and just plain looks nice. everything done 20 million times becomes unpopular. If everyone on this forum got the new Re body kit, in one year it would be unpopular old news. All opinion though, beaty is in the eye of the beholder and a lot of people forget that, such as the comments generated by threads like this. I think a lot of people need to accept that there opinion is just that OPINION.

I agree with you boostmotorsport. People think one thing done two zillion times is nice I'm tired of seeing the JAPANESE Altezza lights on everything (especially on AMERICAN cars) & especially when they don't function properly. I think that the s5 lights are terrific & I wouldn't change them for anything else. I think Altezza lights is gay, lame & they're going to be out of style just like yo-yo's & digital pets. They're a waste of money & almost everyone of your homeboys have it on their car. Just my two cents

Ya I think that clear tail lights might look good on a white or silver car. CLEAR that is, not ones with foil behind them. Those look cheap. Does anyone remember when just clear lights were cool? Not altezzas, just clear-out. I think those would look good on S4 lights with the black part painted body color. Just my opinion.

Look guys the do not look cool on FC's... I think it takes away instead of giving a nice look. 86-88 style look ugly enough without the help of clear lenses and 91 look just too DAMN BAD TO **** THEM UP LIKE THAT!!!!!!!! just my humble personal opinion. By the way I do own an 87 RX-7 with the ugly *** ones... So that is all that Mustangs can see UGLY LENSES GETTING SMALLER...

Ok, I give up! Just what the hell are "altezzas" anyway? Seems like I am the only forum member that knows nothing about them!
