They look slick... I'm not a big fan of black wheels though... makes your car look like an Amish cruiser IMO!!!

Why are you going with more of a positive offset? What is the width?

42mm is pretty close to stock right?......i love black with a polished lip, nice choice, 17" is the best size too, i'd be envious, but im just happy i don't have 4 lugs anymore, so once im off this high, i'll be jealous

its 17'' by 7''. i'm not sure how close 42mm is to stock but that was one thing i wondering about. i havent bought them yet. will 42mm make that big of a difference from lets say 35mm?

Well the stock offset is 40mm, and 7" wide wheels for the Turbo2 and 6 for all the 5-lug N/A wheels, besides the 'vert which was 6.5". No, 2mm wont make any real difference, but they will be still "sunken in" looking like stock. I think it would be a good idea to go with a 17x8 in maybe a 32-34mm offset, to bring the wheels out further, plus be able to fit a wider tire on.

a 17x8 does sound good but i already have a set of brand new kumho tires that will only fit a 7'' rim...so i got to go with that for now. if i had the money i would just sell the tires at start from scratch but i'm just a poor high school kid. i did find some rims with a 35mm offset but i like these too dam much so i'll stick with these for awhile.

+42 will be stick inside your rear fender about 0.75" and your front fender about 0.5" depending which tires you run. The best fitment offset for the FC would be between +30-38. Lower offset for a wider wheel and higher for a slimmer wheel.

If you still want those wheels, then my suggestion would be to go buy four 5mm wheel spacers and use them. Your wheels should be near flush with your fender and should clear your spring/shock/coilover if you have an aftermarket setup.

Thats the only problem with ebay wheels, they're made for mainly FWD or AWD cars. The offset are usually too high for the FC3S.

Goodluck,
Kevin

the tires i have are 215/45/17. should i get 5mm spacers all around or should go with some bigger spacers in the back and smaller up front. i do have an aftermarket suspension so it will be close, but i think it will be alright till i get the spacers.
